Getting your Provisional License:
Before you can learn to drive you will need to obtain a provisional driving license. You can apply for this from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). The application form (form D1) can be obtained from your local Post Office.
The Theory Test:
The theory test must be passed before you take the practical exam (but you may start your practical training BEFORE taking your theory exam). It is a multiple choice computer test. There is also a Hazard Perception Test. We can advise on the learning materials required and our instructors will be there to advise and provide you with support at every stage. To book the theory test you will need to contact the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) on 0300 200 1122 or click here to book online.
The Practical Exam:
The final practical exam is also booked with the DVSA. We will let you know when we feel you are ready for your test.
